o   Scan your local newspaper and listen to the public radio station in your area
o   Pay close attention to posters around town advertising opera-related events
o   Attend as many free events as you can
o   Sign up to receive the Newsletters your local opera companies and conservatories publish
o    And of course, talk to your opera-loving friends and colleagues
